Future Generations To Release Debut Album, Summer Tour Dates Announced

future generationsFuture Generations will be releasing their self-titled debut album tomorrow, Friday, July 29th, via Frenchkiss Records. With pop-sensibilities worthy of radio waves, the band have found their niche.

We are extremely excited to be finally releasing this out to the world. We’ve grown so much through this process and I have to say that is probably the biggest theme through the whole thing: growth,” explains band member Eddie Gore.

Of “Thunder In The City,” Gore adds, “ I don’t want to get too specific about the meaning behind the song, because it’s not supposed to be specific, but it’s definitely about being happy in a moment and about looking back and being happy with yourself.”

Below, you can stream the single, and check out the summer tour dates.

The Decoys Announce Canadian Tour Dates + New Album Date

the decoysThree-piece rock group The Decoys just announced their brand new album, In Our Blood, will be out on April 15th, 2016. The album, a follow-up to their 2011 debut, Stripped, Bare, and On Display, is already gaining buzz, thanks to the catchy new single, “Don’t Hesitate.”

“We definitely have a power trio kind of sound now. We have a different bass player on this album, and when we parted ways with our former lead guitarist, I went from playing rhythm guitar to playing lead guitar. We’re also better players and songwriters at this point. […] We’ve dug a little deeper this time around,” explains Matt Stanley (vox/guitars). “[…] The best inspiration for writing songs is experiencing the world; getting out there, playing live, and being a touring rock ’n’ roll band.”

Magic Bronson Share New Single “Wake Up (111th Dream)”

magic bronsonSynth-driven indie-pop duo Magic Bronson just released their brand new single, “Wake Up (111th Dream). “ The single follows their music video for “Run Run.” and proves to be just as entrancing.

The song was written by Lieberman, following a break-up with his girlfriend. After a wild weekend to ease the pain, weeks of listening to an old vinyl of Bob Dylan’s Highway 61 Revisisted, Lieberman sat down to compose and craft emotionally-charged lyrics and melodies, then throwing in some pirate ships, a game of truth-or-dare, and the names of some influences. Nicastro gave the song some edge, reworking the arrangement, and brining in Edgar Sandoval to play violin.

Stream the stunning new track below, as well as the band’s upcoming tour dates.
