Tuff Slang Premiere Debut Single, “Nothing All The Time”

tuff slang.jpg

With an infectious alternative pop-rock sound, Tuff Slang bring back hints of a classic sound with their debut single, “Nothing All The Time.” The track is filled with stunning instrumentals (many of which will make you long for a day at the beach), booming vocals, and a rhythm that will have your head bobbing along. By the second chorus, you’ll be singing the chorus like a seasoned Tuff Slang fan.

The band effortlessly blends rhythm and soul with pop sensibility. Despite the fact that “Nothing All The Time” is a debut for the band, Tuff Slang already sound as though they’ve been together for years, working together to present a cohesive, catchy new tune.

We have a different bass player on this album, and when we parted ways with our former lead guitarist, I went from playing rhythm guitar to playing lead guitar. We’re also better players and songwriters at this point. […] We’ve dug a little deeper this time around,” explains Matt Stanley (vox/guitars). “[…] The best inspiration for writing songs is experiencing the world; getting out there, playing live, and being a touring rock ’n’ roll band.”

“‘Hit The Switch’ is about meeting someone who changed your view on being single vs. being in a relationship,” explains Alexa. “The song is personal for me, [because] after a bad break-up, I swore off of relationships and wanted to be single forever.
