About the inspiration behind the new single, NGHBRS’ frontman, Ian Kenny explains, “‘Small Talk’ was inspired by one of the first riffs we ever jammed as a band. We were listening back to old demos of ours and decided to bring back this idea 4 years later.” He continues, “The song is about the same old conversations that you’ll have a few times a year, with the same few people, at the same dingy bar in your hometown. It’s a song about realizing most people have such a skewed outlook on life and happiness.”
NGHBRS is Ian Kenny (vocals/keyboard), Jordan Schneider (drums), and Thomas Fleischmann (guitar).
