From the opening notes, there is something stunningly haunting about “Violent Night.” It sounds almost cinematic. Mountain Bird are definitely unlike any other band you’ve ever heard, with a crisp originality that hits like a cold wind, completely unexpected. While there is an edge to the music, the contrasting softness presented knocks listeners back. At the bridge of the song, there is a moment of pure art, where the instruments take over, and each seems to work alongside the other beautifully. It will stop you dead in your tracks. Everything about “Violent Night” is beautifully done, and certainly worthy of a download.

Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, Mountain Bird is a dream-pop act that is making a name for itself.
