Future Generations To Release Debut Album, Summer Tour Dates Announced

future generationsFuture Generations will be releasing their self-titled debut album tomorrow, Friday, July 29th, via Frenchkiss Records. With pop-sensibilities worthy of radio waves, the band have found their niche.

Having just released their new single, “Thunder In The City,” which you can stream below, Future Generations have already drawn quite a buzz for their eclectic sounds.

We are extremely excited to be finally releasing this out to the world. We’ve grown so much through this process and I have to say that is probably the biggest theme through the whole thing: growth,” explains band member Eddie Gore.

Of “Thunder In The City,” Gore adds, “ I don’t want to get too specific about the meaning behind the song, because it’s not supposed to be specific, but it’s definitely about being happy in a moment and about looking back and being happy with yourself.”

My Chemical Romance Post Cryptic Video

my chemical romanceA few years ago, My Chemical Romance shocked fans when they announced that they would be headed in different musical directions. Since then, we’ve seen plenty of solo works, musical projects, etc.

Today, the band released a cryptic video showing a white flag with a black cross waving in the wind to the soft piano notes we all know so well.

Sending shockwaves, fans have been speculating what the video, which you can see below, actually means. Many believe that the only thing that “makes sense” is the Black Parade 10 year reunion tour.

Craig Campbell Duets with Tegan Marie on “Outskirts of Heaven”

tegan marie 2Contemporary country singer/songwriter/pianist Craig Campbell just released his duet with twelve year old country prodigy (and Youtube sensation) Tegan Marie on his country hit, “Outskirts of Heaven.”

You might recall Tegan Marie’s wonderful cover of Kelsea Ballerini’s “Love Me Like You Mean It,” which landed this talented little soul on the map. Now paired with Craig Campbell, a seasoned artist, with a solid chart history, Tegan is showing no signs of slowing down!

The duet is incredible, and showcases Tegan’s stunning, clean vocals alongside Campbell’s deep, no-gimmicks, sincere delivery.

Austin indie outfit The Dirty Heat have just announced that they will be dropping the music video for their single, “Empty Spaces,” which they will premiere on June 25th (this Saturday) at The Blackhearts in Austin.

The single was recorded at Austin’s The Bubble by Frenchie Smith, and the video, which you can see a sneak peek of below, was directed by John Valley.

Marianas Trench Announce US Headlining Tour

marianas trenchMulti-platinum selling Canadian pop-rockers Marianas Trench have announced a summer headlining tour in the US, “SPF 80s,” kicking off on July 8th in Oklahoma City, OK at the Diamond Ballroom.

Presale tickets and VIP packages will be available starting TOMORROW (May 19th) at 10AM local time. General admission tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, May 20th, at 10AM local time. Click HERE for more information and to buy tickets!

The band’s latest tour is in support of their latest release, Astoria, which echoes one part 1980’s fantasy adventure film (ahem, The Goonies), and one part classic Marianas Trench. “This album is about completely falling to pieces, and picking yourself back up again,” explains frontman Josh Ramsay. “We took the hardest two years of my life and made it into something beautiful, and our best work to date.”
