Brooklyn-based alternative folk duo The Bergamot have just announced the release date for their new album, Tones, as February 11th. The pair will also be embarking on a 48-state Unity Tour, which kicks off in NYC on January 2nd, 2016.
At each stop on the upcoming tour, fans will be invited to sign The Bergamot’s 2002 Volvo. With it’s 263K+ miles, the car is a tangible symbol of the work, passion, and soul that The Bergamot have put into both their music and touring.
The Bergamot recently launched The Unity Collective USA Kickstarter in hopes of raising $15,000 to help fund the upcoming tour. The money will be used to maintain the Volvo throughout the tour, in addition to documenting the entire experience and providing updates to fans along the way. Rewards for backing the Kickstarter include credits in the “Unity Tour” documentary, Unity Tour t-shirts, personalized videograms, personal songs, and the opportunity to book a private house concert.
