It’s the first thing we hear on the brand new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer, which premiered tonight on ESPN during the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles football game.
Daisy Ridley’s desert scavenger Rey answers: “I’m no one.” From then on in, we are introduced to the struggles of the latest characters, from a stormtrooper’s existential crisis to the desperation of Kylo Ren to avenge Darth Vader. But just because we see a new cast of characters, doesn’t mean the old ones are far behind; Harrison Ford’s Han Solo returns, as does Carrie Fisher’s Princess Leia.
However, we do notice one member of the group not present: Luke Skywalker.
After the first teaser appeared 11 months ago, many fans have been throwing around questions, theories, etc., and the release of the trailer seems to have sprouted the same response. Check out the trailer below.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be in theaters on December 18th, 2015.
…That’s if you can get tickets.
Advanced ticket sales opened up hours before the Star Wars trailer arrived, but as the trailer debuted, many websites offering tickets were crashing from overload. Online retailers Fandango.com and MovieTickets.com either weren’t loading or were presenting error messages, along with theaters such as AMC, Regal, etc., as fans scrambled for access to the earliest possible screenings.
There is less than two months to Star Wars: The Force Awakens. I think we can all agree when we say the countdown is on!
