Jake Miller just released the music video for his single, “Sunshine,” from his current EP, Rumors. The video premiered on MTV, MTV Hits, and mtvU during National Suicide Prevention Week, and will be shown every hour on MTV channels, MTV.com, music hub, and Miller’s page.
In addition, the Love is Louder organization – a project of The Jed Foundation created with actress Brittany Snow to support anyone feeling mistreated, misunderstood, or alone – has posted the video for “Sunshine” on its website and social media pages, while Snow has posted about the premiere on her personal Instagram, @brittsnowhuh.
Today, the 10th of September, is of course World Suicide Prevention Day, and the video is a beautiful tribute to the friend Miller lost. “This video is not about me, it’s about Dylan and the millions of kids going through what Dylan went through. If this video can prevent even one suicide, that would be incredible. I am so excited and eager to share this video with the world. I hope it makes a big impact,” says Miller.
