Grammy-award winning Swedish group Teddybears are impressive…and not just because of the Grammy awards they’ve won! They’ve also been a part of countless commercials (including the latex Peugeot and Nike TV spots), FIFA 2015 soundtrack, and even songwriters for Giorgio Mororder and Charli XCX’s latest single, “Diamonds.”
After becoming one of the world’s most established team of writers and producers, having worked with the likes of Max Martin, Cee-Lo Green, Sia, Madonna and Iggy Pop, to name a few, the Scandi trio have now decided to collaborate with the godfather of dancehall, the one and only Beenie Man, on their new single, “Broken Heartbeat,” which will be out via Polydor Records, in association with Marshall headphones, on August 21st. “Broken Heartbeat” is filled with chilled out summertime beats, and has a somewhat edgy tone to it, despite its pop/electronic elements being so strong. The track is exactly what I’d expect to hear on the Top 40 radio, especially as a summer track. It’s got a mesmerizing sound to it!
