PREMIERE: Drew Cayla – “King” (Lyric Video)

drew cayla

Fifteen year-old singer-songwriter from Connecticut is making waves in the indie circuit, and no one can say they are surprised! With an old soul and mesmerizing sound, Drew Cayla will resonate well with Death Cab For Cutie, Ed Sheeran, and Sara Bareilles fans. Last year, Drew released her EP, Home, featuring the single, “Like Home.” Below, Planet Stereo is premiering her new lyric video for “King,” which you can view below.

“King is about people who spend their lives striving for shallow things and never enjoy themselves or care for anyone else. This song means a lot to me, and it’s a reminder not to live my life for money or power and to find enjoyment in the little things and the journey to whatever I want to accomplish.”

Drew is preparing to hit the road this summer with “Campified,” where she will be performing at summer camps across the country. For a full list of tour dates, you can visit her Facebook.
