Dozens of Ohio parents were horrified this weekend when they brought their children for a fun, family night out at the movies to see Pixar’s new film, Inside Out. Rather than seeing a delightfully g-rated film about a collection of characters representing the emotions in a young girl’s mind, children instead saw images that I’m sure will scar them for life: other children getting tied up, tortured, and murdered.
This is apparently due to an incredibly poorly-timed mix-up, in which the projectionist began screening the latest horror film, Insidious: Chapter 3.
Parents and children quickly fled the theater, and ticket-holders were given free movie passes along with a free upgrade to a 3D showing of Inside Out. But was it enough?
