Frank Turner Announces Album Release Date

Ever the busy man, Frank Turner‘s been working on a new album, entitled, Positive Songs for Negative People. Turner just announced that the new album will drop on August 7th via Xtra Mile Recordings/Polydor UK/Interscope, with deluxe versions available (super fans, get your capes ready!).

“I feel like this record is my definitive statement, a summation of the first five records,” Turner says. “When a band makes a debut record, there’s a freshness and excitement to it that bands often lose as time goes by. I wanted to make a record with that young, exciting feel.”

Anyone who pre-orders will receive instant downloads of “Get Better” and “The Next Storm,” as well as a unique code allowing you to purchase tickets for Turner’s fall tour before they go on sale this Friday, June 19th.
