Dave Grohl Breaks Leg On Stage

Foo Fighters

Earlier today, Foo Fighters performed a set in Gothenburg, Sweden and frontman Dave Grohl took a tumble during his performance of “Monkey Wrench,” according to ConsequenceOfSound.

The vocalist remained on a stretched for a moment, before addressing the crowd, saying, “I think I just broke my leg again. I think I really broke my leg. So you have my promise, right now, that the Foo Fighters—we’re gonna come back and finish the show.” He then gave a few more apologies and was taken backstage for medical attention, as you can see in the fan-shot video below:

And, as if being a rock legend, amazing dude, Grohl made good on his promise, finishing out the set in a chair.

The Foo Fighters uploaded a picture of Dave’s X-ray to their Facebook page, confirming a broken bone. Ouch! Get better soon, Dave!
