Revival Recordings announced the signing of New York City’s The Things They Carried. After first catching the attention of Shawn Milke (President of Revival Recordings) back in 2013, Milke knew he wanted them on the label. “The members of The Things They Carried are the definition of artists, and bring an incredible passion to the Revival family,” he explains.
Upon signing the band, Milke quickly put on his producer’s hat, and, along with engineer Neil Engle (Alesana, A Skylit Drive, Dance Gavin Dance) went on to record the band’s upcoming record, Melancholia, set for release in June. You can view the album artwork below.
In addition to The Things They Carried signing with Revival Recordings and their new album, the band will be headed out on a headlining tour to support their new record. They will be accompanied by Bitter Kids and Caramel Carmela. The twelve-date tour will begin in Lawrence, KS on May 10th and wrap up in Port Charlotte, FL on May 23rd. You can view tour dates below:
