Fred Abbott Unveils New Song

FRED abbott

London-based Fred Abbott (ex-guitar/keyboard for Noah And The Whale) just unveiled his new single, “Funny How Good It Feels,” which is currently available for free download. The song comes from his debut solo album, Serious Poke, out on the 20th of July. His Noah and The Whale bandmates back him on the album, which was co-produced by Abbott with Martin Hollis (Grinderman, The Rolling Stones, Take That).

Abbott joined Noah and The Whale in 2009, and found success with the group, especially on his contribution to the platinum-selling, highly acclaimed 2011 album, Last Night On Earth.

Abbott enlisted the help of his Noah And The Whale compadres and other friends for the recording of Serious Poke, with sessions taking place at West London’s British Grove Studios over the past year. Below, you can stream the new single, “Funny How Good It Feels,” and view the album track listing.

  4. Honey
  5. Hollywood
  6. One Hot Night
