Kurt Cobain Documentary To Experience Theatrical Release

Just a little over a week after the release of the first trailer for Cobain: Montage of Heck, a documentary about the life of Kurt Cobain, the frontman go Nirvana, it has been announced that in addition to the release of the film via HBO on May 4th, the film will have a theatrical release starting April 10th. The screenings will be taking place in over 70 countries, with DVDs and Blu-Ray discs likely to hit shelves around November 2015.

The film’s theatrical release will make it eligible for Academy Award nominations.
