VIDEO: Real Friends – “Summer”



The Illinois five-piece, Real Friends, have just released a brand new music video for their song, “Summer,” via their website. The track comes from the band’s album, Maybe This Place Is The Same And We’re Just Changing, which debuted at #24 on the Billboard Top 200 and is also available on iTunes.

“Summer is one of those songs that signifies some hope. Most may hear it and think it’s sad, but I don’t see it that way,” explains bassist and lyricist Kyle Fasel. “This song is about a stage of moving forward. It’s not about the finish line, but getting there. We are stoked to show the video. It was cool to do a totally acted out video that doesn’t involve us. You really get to see the theme of the song capture in this video.”
Real Friends is gearing up for their North American tour alongside The Maine, Knuckle Puck and The Technicolors. The American Candy Tour is set to kick off on April 3rd in Tempe, AZ. Tickets are available at
