Following an eventful summer spent on the entirety of the Vans Warped Tour, Nick Santino is still going, heading out to the UK and into Europe (for the first time as a solo artist) before headlining a tour back on American soil.
The Long & Winding Roadshow heads out across the US and into Canada this November, with stops in many of the major cities along the way. The acoustic tour, headlined by Nick Santino features support from This Century, Brian Marquis, Austin Gibbs, William Beckett, and other special guests yet to be announced.
No stranger to the road, Santino will wrap up his 2014 touring schedule with The Long & Winding Roadshow. Earlier this year he played for fans in both the Philippines and Brazil. His hectic touring schedule comes in support of his debut full length Big Skies, produced by Pat Kirch of The Maine and released in May of this year. Since the break up of his former band A Rocket To The Moon last summer, Nick Santino has released two debut EPs in addition to this full length.
Arizona’s This Century are excited to get back out on the road after spending the summer working on new music. This tour will be their first since the spring, when they were direct support for We The Kings in the US. Acoustic performances are nothing new to the band as many of their songs have been released in acoustic renditions, including those on an acoustic EP they put out a few years back.
The tour lineup is rounded out by the talented Brian Marquis who also founded the Acoustic Basement, an all-acoustic stage on the Vans Warped Tour annually, and singer-songwriter Austin Gibbs. Gibbs is touring in support of his new EP released earlier this year. Switching out with Brian Marquis on a few of the dates, is William Beckett – former frontman of The Academy Is… and long-time touring friend of Nick Santino.
Setting The Long & Winding Roadshow apart from many other fall tours is not only the low ticket prices which the bands are striving to maintain in all markets, but also their personal connection with the fans at each show. In an industry saturated with VIP ticket options and bands charging their fans for meet & greets, The Long & Winding Roadshow is having none of it. Each artist on the tour will be hanging out for free to sign for and take pictures with fans every night.
